We’re Working to make the greater Green Bay area great!
Press-Gazette Media has been a part of the Green Bay community for nearly 100 years. We don’t just report on our community—we live, work, and raise our families here. Whether feeding the hungry or pitching in to clean up our neighborhoods, our people have a passion for giving back to the area we call home.
Annually, Press-Gazette Media provides thousands of dollars in in-kind advertising and hundreds of hours of volunteer service in our community. Below are just a few of the programs in which we lead the effort.
Do It! Campaign – Annually Press-Gazette Media hosts four Do It! Community Challenges in which we bring to light the needs of those in our community. This year’s campaigns include Stock the Shelves, Serving Seniors, March to Goodwill and Shop with a Cop.
Make A Difference Day: Sponsored by Gannett’s USA WEEKEND, the largest national day of helping others brings together millions the fourth Saturday of every October. With the help of hundreds of volunteers, Press-Gazette Media helps winterize our neighbors’ homes, make greeting cards and provide senior safety bags for homebound seniors in our community and work at the Bethesda Thrift Shop and in a community garden for residents with mental illness.
