We’re working to make Oshkosh great!
Oshkosh Northwestern Media has been a part of the Oshkosh community for more than 150 years. We don’t just report on our community—we live, work, and raise our families here. Whether feeding the hungry or pitching in to clean up our neighborhoods, our people have a passion for giving back to the area we call home.
Annually, Oshkosh Northwestern Media provides thousands of dollars in in-kind advertising and numerous hours of volunteer service in our community. Below are just a few of the programs in which we lead the effort.
Do It! Campaign: Annually Oshkosh Northwestern Media hosts two Do It! Community Challenges in which we bring to light the needs to those in our community. This year’s campaigns include Serving Seniors and Stock the Shelves.
Make A Difference Day: Sponsored by Gannett’s USA WEEKEND, the largest national day of helping others brings together millions the fourth Saturday of every October. With the help of local volunteers, Oshkosh Northwestern Media has volunteered at the Christine Anne Center.
Gannett Foundation: Across the nation, the Gannett Foundation raises millions in grants and matching employee donations. In the Oshkosh area alone, in the past 5 years we’ve been able to give more than $30,000 back to area organizations.
